Images work for every account. Adding video and audio is in beta with model
generation and uses the same access; anyone who can open the brand can list
them.
Add a file
Pick the file’s source:- A local file: stage it with a direct upload, then pass the upload ID.
- A file Bloom already has, such as a generation output or a file in another brand’s Library: pass its media ID.
- A public file: pass its HTTPS URL.
- API
- MCP
With your API key, add a staged upload:For a media ID, send
{ "type": "media", "mediaId": "..." }; for a URL, { "type": "url", "url": "https://..." }. The response’s data.id is the media ID to use from then on. See Add to a Brand Library for the full contract.existing: true instead of storing a second copy. URLs are downloaded on every add, so a URL whose contents changed can return a different item. A file from the same brand, such as one of its generation outputs, joins the Library and keeps its media ID. A file from another brand is copied, so the copy gets a new media ID.
List the Library
List withGET /brands/{id}/library or list_library. Files come back most recently added first, and you can filter by type. Each item includes its media ID, a description when Bloom has one, and a link. Anyone with that link can open the file, so share it only with people and tools you trust.
Remove or delete a file
Removing a file takes it out of the Library but keeps it. Its media ID and link keep working, and published Brand Skills that already use it are unaffected. Future Briefs, Brand Edits, and Brand Skill versions stop using it. Remove withDELETE /brands/{id}/library/{mediaId} or remove_from_library.
To delete the file permanently, use the delete operation for its type: DELETE /images/{id}, /videos/{id}, or /audio/{id} in the API, or delete_images, delete_videos, or delete_audio in MCP. Deletion can’t be undone.
If adding fails
- Upload not found or unavailable: temporary uploads expire and belong to one workspace. Upload the file again in the brand’s workspace.
- Unsupported format: Bloom accepts JPEG, PNG, WebP, AVIF, and SVG images; MP4, WebM, and MOV video; and MP3, WAV, OGG, FLAC, AAC, and M4A audio.
- Beta access required: your account doesn’t have video and audio yet. Images still work.
